Banana Choco Oatmeal

Bonjour à tous!

Good morning from eastern Jakarta. I wish you a very well-spent morning and also a good leisurely breakfast to start the day. As you all know, long holiday means that i get more time to spend on making a good healthy brekkie. I feel like going back to my early high school year when all i wanted for my brekkie was a nice bowl of oatmeal and i ended up being called the queen of oatmeal because i brought a bowl of oatmeal to school every single day.

Today, i'd like to share you about how i usually have my oatmeal made. As for today, i made a bowl of chocoatmeal topped with banana, apple, sprinkle of muesli, almond, and of course, my all time fav cinnamon powder.

Recipe:
1. Firstly, add 3 tbsp of quick-cooking oats to the pan along with 2-3 cups of water (depends on how you like your oatmeal, i prefer mine not too liquidy)
2. Then cook your oats in medium heat, not too hot nor too weak. Do not forget to keep stirring.
3. Add 2 tsp of cocoa powder and *sweetener (*optional)
4. Keep stirring until its texture is dense enough or just as how you prefer your oatmeal texture to be.
5. Pour them oatmeal into a bowl.
6. Then top em with any topping you like. Today i topped mine with banana, apple ( for the crunch), a sprinkle of muesli + almond + poppy seed, and also a lot of cinnamon powder.
7. Voila!

yumness!

And look what's written on the bowl...

Have a nice day, people.
See you soon!
