Easy Oat Pancakes Tower

By Maudy Elvira - August 08, 2015

Bonjour à tous!

People often ask others about one simple and very common topic, you name it, 'Dream'. When i got a question such as how do you see your future self in like 20 years. This kind of question is pretty hard to answer tho'. The best answer i am willing to give is none other than i picture myself with my little family live in a city where we are able to take a stroll with our puppy every single afternoon, have lunch by the river, and watch the sun sets in the balcony. AH.

This topic about dream often derails me from my main topic here, oh well, yesterday i made myself a breakfast with no intention of posting its recipe nor posting the photos here. I aimed to make myself a simple quick breakfast, but well it turned out pretty good. And here is the recipe, well it is so simple and it's just not worth called a recipe, but i'll write it any way #noshame #pride.

Oat Pancakes Tower

Serves 1 person. makes 6-7 mini pancakes.

Ingredients:
5 tbsp of oat flour
1 egg
3 tbsp of coconut sugar
1 tsp of baking soda
2 tsp of cinnamon powder
1 banana
2 tbsp of olive oil or organic butter
1/4 cup of water
Crushed raw almond

How...
1. Combine the oat flour, egg, coconut sugar, baking soda, and cinnamon powder in a bowl. Whisk until the batter is smooth. Add just enough water to make it a little more batter-consistency.
2. Preheat the oil or butter on a unsticky pan with medium heat.
3. Pour in 1-2 tbsp of batter and swirl it around. Cook until you get that nice golden brown pancake.
4. Layer it with any of your favorite fruit, mine is banana. Of course.
5. Top the tower with any desirable topping. I top mine with crushed raw almond and more cinnamon powder because #cinnamonpowderis life.
6. Voila!
