[JAPAN] Little Gem in Little Kyoto

So, apparently, lunch deal is a thing here in Japan and some restaurants offer a pretty much a good deal when it comes to lunch set etc. Yesterday, one my friends asked me to go to this particular cafe called Cafe Bibliotic Hello! Yes, with an exclamation mark. This cafe is located in the neighbourhood 5 minutes walk from Sanjo area. It is pretty hidden so you might as well bring your maps on your smartphone.

It was around 2 p.m when i got there and i haven't had lunch so i ordered a lunch set which consists of caprese salad with the side soup and bread and iced tea. This set (caprese salad, iced tea, three huge bread loafs, pumpkin soup) costs me about 1300 yen which is a pretty good deal though, knowing they are very generous with the portion. I don't know if this is a thing but when i ordered the waitress asked whether i like my soup hot or cold. I was a little surprised. Japanese hospitality is just A++.

Ah, the most interesting part is how this cafe is connected to the bakery just beside. I think they are owned by the same person. You can have your bread on the go or you can also have it at the cafe and they'll heat it up for you.

Believe it or not, i got this outer for only 300 yen in HnM Tokyo which is absolutely a steal.
